It’s back!!

Ok going through some .. I'm not even sure just feeling lost with my .. "ME" if that makes any sense.. anyway I did lesson one of Art Journaling 102 today .. wow. I forget when I'm in that "funk" how much art releases me.. I really think everyone should find a way to express themselves.. if you haven't signed up you really should go sign up for Art Journaling 102.. there is 101 in archive format as well but it's so easy there isn't any natural talent required.. I'm not just saying that.. below there was no drawing or anything besides writing involved..

I can’t believe I did that..

I should know better than to try to accomplish something computer savvy with a baby crawling on me.. my blog that I finally got to the point where I liked it.. *pOoF* gone.

I'm only sharing because I'm testing out the blog posting option in Word 2007. Just sharing the photo to test that as well.. my poor baby .. teething at the zoo. At least the zoo distracted him.

A little something I did

Here is a project I did.. still trying to get caught up on doing and/or posting the little things I'm doing to keep the promise to myself for Get52.. sorry for the color cast on the photo just no patience to wait to fix it.. but this is one of those bobunny tins that have brads in them.. the tin is magnetic on the back.. so I could NOT dispose of it ;) I put a family photo (that's me on the left as a baby) and decorated it.. I'm sending it to my father for his fridge.

What I'm thinking

I am glad the Photoshop class is coming up.. Beginning Photo Editing and I'm not just saying that because I love all of the classes there but because I've been looking through our zoo pictures and we got some awesome photos of the animals... but most of the ones with the kids have some weird stuff going on so I'm looking forward to learning some techniques to make them look better! I also want to have a cool banner for this blog.. I've been working on getting it to look the way I'd like but I just need a cool photo for the banner!


hmm.. wonder if the photo class will help me photoshop myself thinner? ;)

Alphabet Soup Photo Challenge

On Friday Tony came home and we hopped in a car and drove to San Deigo, CA.. went to the zoo and a cool little air museum.. it was a ton of fun.. so it's safe to bet the following "catch-up" photos will be from the little trip :) It was funny because about 75% of my photos I was thinking of this Alphabet Soup LOL ..

C is for Container Junkie

So I like containers.. I started thinking of how much money I've spent in the last six months on containers and realized I needed to stop before I got extremely embarassed.. and a complex.. I love storage things.. organization products.. I love this making memories embellishment center and I love even more.. these containers from ikea.. they fit perfect and are shiney and pretty and I really wish I had gotten more.. but with all the money I spent on boxes to organize my closet and cupboards and the garage and closets... I guess this was enough.... for now.

My little project

I made this cute little thing to hold my ephemera.. it's a cardboard book I purchased at stampington.com .. then I decorated with some papers and a ton of modge podge and paints and some bling and flowers and just kept adding stuff.. oh and embossed a bunch of it.. the binding and the edges.. it was fun and what a mess! but a good one :)
