Girl Power

I have the best friends in the world. I can't even begin to explain how fortunate I am.

My sister-in-law & friend threw me a baby shower the last weekend of June. I was in one friend's wedding the first weekend of July. Then the next weekend of July two other friends "kidnapped" me to Canada for the weekend.

Today, a coworker had her friend pack up all her baby stuff to give me.. and she gave me a stroller, and a baby gymboree. Then I came home and my friend whose wedding I was in sent me two more shower gifts for no reason other than she loves me.

It's not a material thing honest. I feel like it sounds like it but it really isn't. It's about having friends who just see a need and fill it. Not having to ask, just stepping in and doing something..

I'm sure this isn't explaining everything the way I feel right now but I'm pretty emotional and feeling mushy love for my girl friends!!

Still Sunday, Still Stagnant

Ok.. so I accomplished nothing.. I drove to Boston Market for dinner.. and am watching Iron Chef. Next up is Queer as Folk. The show is addicting I tell you. I am a TV junkie.. I really like all tv.

I am physically miserable. Here's a picture of me two weeks ago .. my wonderful girlfriends kidnapped me and took me to a cool hotel in Canada.. this is a scrapbook store.. Paper Pickle.. pretty cool place.. really neat owner. Now I wish I had cleaned so I could scrapbook tonight.

Hopefully in a few weeks when my little ones makes his appearance I'll feel more energetic. And don't post I'll be just as tired caring for a newborn. LOL I most likely will but am hoping I can at least sleep when he's here. Right now I can't get comfortable to sleep.. and am looking forward to sleep.. even if it's only for 2-3 hours at a time!!

Sunday TV is the pits

I sit here.. it's 3pm and not a thing on TV. I wonder why we spend over $100 a month on the "whole" package (cable, internet, etc) and still can't find anything interesting to watch. I wonder if it's a sign to actually do something.. organize or clean my home. I'm "nesting" they say.. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second pregnancy, but it will be my fourth child. I have two children from my husband's prior marriage and one from a prior relationship.

I don't think I'm nesting. I think everyone at some point gets fed up with living in clutter.

Ok.. I will get something done today. Since I wrote about it now I feel motivated to accomplish something so I can write that I accomplished something.
